Postdoctoral position in Biochemistry/Molecular
Biology on the study of RNA G quadruplex (G4) patterns
form the neurones (University of Sherbrooke, Canada)
A two-year fellowship is available to work on the
characterization of RNA G4 across the transcriptomes
of various cell types of the human nervous system. The
objectives are to analyse the structure of these G4s,
to determine their contribution on the post
transcriptional regulation of the health and disease
cells, to identify the interacting RNA binding
proteins, and to modulate their folding in cells. The
research group of Pr. Perreault is at the Department
of Biochemistry and Functional Genomics of the Faculty
of Medicine and Health Sciences. It has expertise in
the prediction and the study of RNA G4. For more
information or to apply, send your CV with a short
description of your motivation to jean-
pierre.perreault@usherbrooke.ca.
